    • Oh, I’m so thankful this could be used in your life today, Michelle! May Jesus enable you to walk and not faint, run and not grow weary!

  1. This is so where I am. Thankyou for putting it in wonderful words. I know we don’t see each other anymore but through FB, but I wanted to tell you that your face always shines Jesus to me.

    • Hi Alana! Aaaah, I have such wonderful memories of our short time together in Chorale! How I’d love to see you again and catch up. Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I’m so thankful this met you where you are! Love, Jen 🙂

  2. Beautiful. Thank you. I needed this today!!! 🙂 God Bless. Your struggles are not in vain.

  3. Thank you, thank you, thank you! After a terrible afternoon (and the guilt that goes with each and every one of those) with my challenging four-year-old yesterday, I needed this so. very. much.

    • Oh man… yes, the four-year-old stage does not do wonders for a mom’s sense of success! 🙂 Praying for your perseverance! It WILL all pay off!! So thankful this blog could provide a little encouragement, Lori!

  4. Oh my word…YES! I am failing…and despairing…this week has been awful…THANK YOU for your honesty and for sharing and for praying. I’ll be praying for you too!!!

    • Thank you, Tonya! I’m so sorry about your week!! I know that Jesus won’t leave you despairing. “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up!” (James 4:10) So glad to hear from you. Praying for you now!

  5. When I remember that God created me and everything and person then i can focus and ask forgiveness from loved one and move forward and continue to grow.

  6. Thank you, after yesterdays failures and shortcomings, this is just what I needed today! I, too, have five kiddos and lots of chaos I cannot seem to get under control. Thanks for speaking truth into my heart today.

    • Bridgett, I’m so glad God could use this to encourage you. I know it’s a daily battle (especially when we’re talking about 5 kids ;-)). I think the failure thing is going to happen far too often for our liking. But I pray that we won’t be defeated by it, but grow from it instead. Keep up the awesome work with your kids!! I know how hard it is… and God does too. 🙂 You’re exactly the perfect mom for them. God knew what He was doing!
